Vehicle's A and B are stationary on level ground. Vehicle A is 12 inches from the rear bumper of vehicle B.
The driver of vehicle be unknowingly relaxes their foot on the brake pedal.

Formula to calculate the speed vehicle A was going when their front bumper hit the rear bumper of vehicle B which was over a distance of 12 inches.
