Hostname printer change

I have a ricoh printer connected in the network, but the problem is when assign the hostname at the next day or some hours the printer change the hostname, is always the same same as a computer next the printer

Try connecting the Printer with a static IP address and keep the computer on DHCP.

Try giving the printer a completely different name, then shut the printer down and restart it.  See if the old hostname is again re-assigned
This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.

If you are using DHCP your scope to exclude a specific range and set the printer to a static IP in this excluded range.
Do your DHCP have conflict resolution

Try this:

When the problem happens, switch the printer off and then try PINGing its IP address. If there is still a response you have an IP conflict, and you should use Shaun's advice to make sure the printer's address cannot be used for DHCP.
