Replication in Hyper-V

Hi,

I have 2 Windows Server 2012 R2 with hyper-v installed, in a workgroup. I currently have 1 vm that replication is enabled with certificate-based authentication 443 HTTPS, and it is working fine.

When i try to make a second vm to be replicated, I have this error : User generated image
Any idea ?

Thanks !

Hi

Did you specify which server is the replication server in hyperV and Next, did you open firewall ports that you can remember?

If you have 9 minutes to look at this YouTube tutorial it Will show you everything.

I did specify the server name for the replication, and both firewall are turned off.

Currently, the second virtual machine is not on the replica server, i have the error above.

The exact same setup worked for VM1, it is replicated fine every 5 minutes on the second server. When i do the exact same thing with the same certificate for VM2, it doesn't work.
Same certificate? Ok, can you try to replicate on port 80 without certificate?

I get this error on port 80 : User generated image
Is Kerbose delegation set on both servers?

I found what was causing the problem. The VM was a copy of another, and it had another one on the replica server with the same GUID.

Thanks y'all !
