Setting up a Windows Server 2008 R2 to allow file sharing to a MAC (Apple)
It's been years since I last setup a server (Windows Server 2003, to be exact ) to allow file sharing to a MacBook
I tried to search the EE database for related questions and answers.
Can someone please provide steps and a link, showing How I can get several MacBooks access to shared data on a Windows Server 2003 R2?
I need to setup the Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard to allow file sharing to a Macbook
Thanks!

@arnold that would depend on whether or not some of the data is also to be shared with Windows users. NFS may not be a choice to use while it would work, but really adds potentially another layer of support.
I understand that, the answer to such a question is the two options, standard Windows shares (accessible via samba from a Mac) and NFS based shares (native Linux/UNIX and OS X ) .... Which require the addition of SFU to the Windows 2008 R2....
If you want Mac to access shares on Windows using NFS, install services for UNIX then setup NFS shares,
