asked on Apple macbook pro losing network/ wifi after sleep
Hello I have a Mac book pro running 10.9.5 and if you walk away from the system for some time and it goes to sleep or sometime just sitting a while, it will loose it connection to the wireless router in the office ..... I can't say it only when it goes to sleep but it randomly just happens and I am forced to click the click on the wireless connection in the office and wait for it to connect .... any suggestions?

What year is the mac book. I've seen some mac books pro with Known wirelesss card issues.

Try opening a terminal.app and type caffeinate in it to keep your Macbook Pro awake.
