Cisco AnyConnect Mobility Client Authentication Failed

Hello,



I have installed our company's Cisco AnyConnect Mobility Client but haven't used it for a long time. Time has come for me to use it but it won't let me connect. I've already reset my password but still get an 'Authentication Failed' message. I tried to use my colleague's laptop to test my credentials and it's allowing me to connect to our network but not in my computer.



Can someone help me?

Hello Lyn,

did you install company certificate ? or try to reinstall it

Hello Juan,

I did uninstall the Cisco Mobility client and did try to reinstall it by going to the SSL site but it's also giving me the 'Authentication Failed' message.
I'm not sure if that's what you are referring as i'm not really a technical person but thank you for your prompt response and assistance on this.

Which version of Cisco Mobility Client are you using?

Did you try to get your colleague's login in your Cisco Mobility Client just to test if they can get the VPN access from your Laptop?

Yes sir, my colleague tried to connect using her credentials but also gets the 'authentication failed' message.

is the same version installed on her laptop?

did you check if you have proxy settings configured in your laptop?
Yes, we have the same version installed.

She is connected to our office network with IP while i'm at the client site using their network as a guest - would that matter?
yes you will need to ask to your client network admin if your VPN Site is blocked with them network.

or if you have an smartphone (Microsoft, Android or iPhone) with Data Available you can hook your laptop via Hotspot and then try to connect to your VPN Network.
