Sync home folder not working- urgent
Many users are complaining that syncing not working. Its not saving to home network shared folder. What could be the issue? Thanks.
What do your logs tell you on the domain controllers? Go to the event viewer and start looking at the Administrative events for errors and or warnings. Re-post any errors with errors with NETLOGON, DNS, DHC or any others that look important. Without detailed information it's hard to say. Client side logs would be helpful too.
Also in order to setup the sync partnership, the user needs to have browse rights to the home folder
ASKER
user has full control to his her home folder
give them browse rights too.

How did you set up the shared home folder and when you did you set it up so is it "always available offline?
ASKER

it should be
ASKER
that may be the case, let me try and will keep you posted.
If that does not work, refer to this link
It talks about browse rights but what they are actually talking about is Traverse Folder rights. Use this link to understand where and how to use it.
