If your trying to rip music to a flash drive Try this:

Use the rip function of windows mediaplayer, then cut and paste to the flash drive.

Or

In windows media player select Rip Settings>More Options...> then go to the rip music tab> you will see an option that says Rip music to this location (it will say something like C:\Users\) change that file path to your usb drive.

Question to both author and "experts": Do you know something like the Copyright?

If Patrick would have all rights to the CD contents then he may use the source from which the CD was created.
pcelba is correct, i should have mentioned that:
Please note that you cannot legally make DIGITAL COPIES of records or CDs that you own in all countries. Before making copies of your media, always verify legislation in the country in which you reside.
