Users who are set as &quot;Managers&quot; for distribution groups have the ability to make modifications by default. Not sure what the guy in Tim's link was dealing with, but the MyDistributionGroups role is assigned to all users by default and grants the ability to modify groups that they &quot;Own&quot; or Manage from OWA and Outlook.

I see in the properties of the Distribution group there is a &quot;Managed by&quot; tab. I only lets me select 1 user as a manager. Can i create a security group and use that in the &quot;managed by&quot; tab?

Exchange is the server side of a collaborative application product that is part of the Microsoft Server infrastructure. Exchange's major features include email, calendaring, contacts and tasks, support for mobile and web-based access to information, and support for data storage.

Exchange
