Drobo B1200i and vmware ESX 5.5 with two servers

I have two HP servers with one 12TB Drobo that I am trying to get the vmware to see the drives on the Drobo.  Are there any tidbits anyone can give me on getting the second server seeing the data drive?

Configure the second host in the same way as you did the first, make sure on the Drobo unit, you have selected more than one connection per LUN (e.g. multiple servers), you may need to add the IQN of the second server to the LUN, to allocate access.

Re-scan the iSCSI Storage adaptor, and the Datastore should appear!

Andrew just not doing something right.  Get a message "The iSCSI initiator could not establish a network connection to the target".  does that me an I don't have something setup on the DROBO correct?

Okay, have you configured your storage network, and iSCSI correctly on this host, can you see if this host is connecting and reaching the Drobo unit ?

Ho do I do that?
Andrew Hancock (VMware vExpert PRO / EE Fellow/British Beekeeper)

Okay, you configure the host as below

HOW TO: Add an iSCSI Software Adaptor and Create an iSCSI Multipath Network in VMware vSphere Hypervisor ESXi 5.0

HOW TO: Enable Jumbo Frames on a VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi 5.0) host server using the VMware vSphere Client

samer procedure for 5.5, although I wrote these articles for 5.0!

let me know, when your hosts are configured as above, and make sure your networking and Drobo are configured for Jumbo Frames.

The iSCSI Software adaptor - WWNN is auto generated, when it's enabled
