Hi,

host: 2012 R2
guest VM: 2008 R2 SP1 Enterprise

We have paused replication for this VM and have 2 recovery points.  Is there a way to save the recovery points or this replica copy and then re-start replication but have this saved copy and be able to restore to the saved copy if needed?  We just want to "freeze" the replica and/or recovery points for a few weeks but would like to have the option of going back to this replica copy/recovery point if we have to.

Thanks,

Hi Patrick,

no, not snapshot but the replication recovery points.

I have since exported the replica copy of the VM to a disk as a "backup"

Do you know what is the proper way to re-integrate this replica copy if needed?

Thanks,
