asked on

How efficient to move databases to Azure?

Hi there.

I got couple of databases on-premises, majorly in MySQL and MS SQL.

How efficient is the way we move it to Azure platform? Do they provide any wizards or tools for this implementation?

Is Azure only support MS SQL?

Thank you.

Thank you for the comment Dirk-Jan and arnold.

So it seems that if we gonna use Azure as the platform, for a long term strategy (at least at this moment), we should only focusing to MS SQL development?

and perhaps one last question... can we know/specify what's the version of MSSQL going to be used in Azure? like, SQL ver 2012, 2014, 2016,etc?
