They do not appear to have a Linux driver

Is there a driver folder on the card?  There is such an installation folder on my (equivalent) HUAWEI USB stick.
That's an incorrect answer for this question and doesn't deserve points.  There is a linux driver that you can install with the kernel that will support this.  It's time to delete this incorrect answer or you should have requested attention and got linux "experts" to answer this question.

The driver has existed since 2011.  https://github.com/ebirbe/tlwn722n-linux-install

Or, if you have ubuntu, you can backport the drivers.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
apt-get install gcc build-essential linux-headers-generic linux-headers-`uname -r`
wget https://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/projects/backports/s‌table/v3.16/backport‌s-3.16-1.tar.gz
