Soiftware: Personal duplicated/triplicated files (Photos, Documents) in Windows 10
Hi,
I have a Windows 10 computer with my personal files and a windows 2008 R2 server with backup... The situation is that during 10 years I've been backing up all my personal files and now I have multiple copies of each one :( so the question is:
Is there some recommended software that allow me to clean my duplicated/triplicated files? mostly photos, images, pdf and office documents.
Hopefully one that allow me compare 2 folders and ask which one is the main (or valid one) so it automatically removes found copies into the non-valid one and keeps the valid one updated.
Thanks.

There are many file duplicate finders available, check out this gizmo's list see:
http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-duplicate-file-remover.htm
Gizmo's has no editor for this category right now, but the discussion is valid even if the versions defined might need revision.
If you have lots of images, then some may be duplicates with different or similar names. For that I use visipics see;
http://www.visipics.info/index.php?title=Main_Page
Visi pics has abilities to manage directories within the results so that you can target which directories are the keepers, so duplicates found in other directories can be flagged for deletion. The interface takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, its not too bad. It has not been updated for some time, I still use it, but alternatives exist see:
