I was trying to fix my DC because the time was not syncing. I stopped then w32time service but when I try to start it, it gives me error "the service name is invalid". What could be wrong? I cant find the service in the "service list" on the server.

reregister the service in that case

1w32tm /unregister (removes service)
2. Reboot
3. w32tm /register
4. Reboot or restart the time service

Missed  this part
I cant find the service in the "service list" on the server.
You can also export service from Registry on a working computer (PDCe needs to be NTP with NTP IP and others NT5DS), import and restart
