PVS versioning - PVS 7.8
Hello,
I have read a few articles about there being issues with having more than 7 total versions available per vDisk when using PVS.
I havent been able to find out why? Does anyone know why this would affect the image once there are more than 7 versions?
I can create more than 7 versions of a vDisk but anytime i use that version, say version 8 or 9, there are issues within the disk where applications will not work properly.
Any information is appreciated

Regards,
5 is the default warning level. The reason is the more versions, the slower PVS gets and the longer it takes to merge the vDisks to a new base image.

thanks Carl.
Is there a link to any documentation that states this? I have been unable to locate any.
