Office 365 Exchange Online - Auto Failover

Is it possible to use Microsoft Office 365 in a hybrid configuration as well as automatic failover? For example, if O365 goes down, we can still send and receive and access all our mailboxes from the on-premise Exchange server 2010.

This would mean having a mailbox on both O365 and on-premise using active-active failover.
