Has anyone ever set up one of these before using an online template? I recently decided to take on a partner and need to draft something up. I found something on lawdepot.com that looked promising... Any suggestions is most appreciated!

When pulling any legal document off the internet, unless it's later reviewed by a local contract lawyer before signing, it's advisable to include a severance clause.  This protects the rest of the agreement if it later ends up in court, and some provision is found unlawful or unenforceable.

I would also suggest any agreement, especially a partnership agreement, should be combed through by a lawyer before signing. You may think a lawyer is expensive, but that has nothing on losing your shirt from a Partnership dispute. I've seen it. It's bad.
