Currently someone deleted a folder from our shared file server. i have found the folder that was deleted in the previous versions tab but if i restore it will it delete all newer documents from the parent folder?

i tried to copy and paste the folder and i get an error message stating i need permission. i am also and administrator
Copy out to a different location or disk.

I get the same error. I try to copy the entire primary folder and the sub folder that was deleted both give me the error code.
