still closes both. there's some 'add acct' deal that's messing this up I think
There's no choice to choose what acct to sign out from
It just "signs" you totally out of all gmails open
But there is a difference in closing a browser and click signout right?
nope.  if i open my personal in a different chrome, sign in, and try and sign out, i get signed out of both accts.
Yes, sign out destroys all sessions but if you just close one browser the other session is supposed to be still there if you ask me.

When you sign out of one Google account, you also sign out of all your accounts on that browser.
just close the browser of the account you no longer require and only  sign out of the last account when you are done.
ok, will try that.  bear w/me....
I don't this this feature is supported by Google,
I think closing the browser keeps you logged into ur personal acct?
Yes,  and I checked, That feature is not supported by Google.
Well that is just ridiculous!  Seriously Google???? I cant close my personal gmail w/o closing my work acct simultaneously.  That's just poor design.
Agree, you have to wait until they solve this problem.
VERY very disappointing
Log in to your Gmail account
Click the setting on the upper right hand side
Select Send Feedback This will give you a textbox to submit an issue or provide feedback.
What if there's no Feedback choice in the dropdown?
There must be a Send Feedback above Help.
there is in my WORK acct, but not in my personal gmail
Interesting,
Try a different Browser.
I really wonder what's going on here.  Something seems not right

Multiple Google accounts - How do I sign out of just one?1 best answer
I have multiple accounts enabled in Chrome, and I frequently switch between work and personal accounts.

Currently the sign out function signs out of all accounts and then asks me to sign in again.

How do I sign out of just one account and leave my other one signed in?

you cant if you use multiple sign in

if you have to sign out then you must use  two different browsers or chrome in incognito mode to access the other accounts

There's no way to sign out of just one account when you are using multiple account sign in.  It always signs you out of all of them.
