I have client who is using Outlook 2016 with Office 365. He has many different mailboxes in his profile. Some are shared mailboxes from O365 and some are imap accounts for various other email addresses.
He is getting intermittant issues where emails get stuck in his outbox when trying to send. There is send and receive error at the bottom of the outlook window with the error - 0x8004010F Outlook data file cannot be accessed
The error refers to an O365 shared mailbox.
I have seen various solutions online but all refer to imap mailboxes.
Restarting Outlook resolves the issue and the stuck emails are sent. But problem reoccurs a few days later.
I think I am going to have to create him a new Outlook profile which would be simple but for all the email accounts I will need to set up again. Total pain!.
Is there a better solution to this error?
