I am using Access 2013 for front end.  Will be converting to 2016 by end of year.   Using SQL Server 2014 for backend.  Tables are not linked.  A requirement.  Using strictly ADO connections, commands, etc.  A requirement.  Have stored procs in SQL Server that are called from front end.  Another requirement.  That means recordsets for getting the info from SQL Server.  Not an issue.  Need to show a report (print preview) of the record showing on the form.  That is the issue.  From what I have been able to find is that Access reports do not support recordsets unless it is an adp.  Really?  Adp?  Didn't Microsoft dropped that a few years ago?  What did they replace it with/alternatives?

What I need to do is design a report that shows the data on the form.  Report design is done.  A button on the form will bring the report to the print preview.  The button is done and it I have gotten the report to open in print preview.  What I am having difficulty with is getting the report to populate with the record showing on the form.  Asking the community and others what is your work-a-round?

Thanks to those who answer.
