Search data on excel sheet

Hi,

I have a very long table in a excel sheet "Data" where I need to search for some words. I need to have returned information in other sheet using a "search" cell and after writing words, click on a button to find it on the "Data" sheet. The result will be located on the same sheet.

Please, verify the example of what I need in the attached excel file.

Thanks to help me.

Hi Shums,

Thank you very much for your help!

Unfortunately the search don't work and is not like I need.

If I search for "mobile" in the [first word] it return data like "A7 VM".

I need a solution like the google search or maybe your idea (separate words) but using a "search button" and the correct result.

Do you understand what I need?

Thanks about all your time on this my request!

Excelent solution! Works like a charm!
Hi Ejgil Hedegaard,

I've verified a little error on search. If I search "d2" it doesn't show me results like "standard_d2" or "d2_v2".

Can you solve this? Thanks!
d2 is a part of standard_d2, so when looking for whole words, it will not be incorporated.
It is no problem to search for part of words like d2, but searching for "en", will include Encoding, Authentication, Central and a lot more.
I don' think that is what you want.

Here is a proposal, with 2 search boxes, the first to look for all words exactly as written, and the second to include the record if one or more of the text parts are somewhere in the text.
