4.74 vdc vs 5.00 vdc USB
I just purchased a USB 3.0 two in, one out switching device. It is a PLUGABLE brand model USB3-SWITCH2. ANY new item I ever obtain that has USB always gets measured with an accurate voltmeter. I have never seen voltage below 4.90 or above 5.15. This one takes 5.08 from my new workstation and drops it to 4.74 volts with no load. I personally am not comfortable with that. Experts, how do you feel about this situation? Of course, it appears to work well, but it still concerns me.
