They are already cycling drives, so the cloud backup, in spite of the monthly charges, would be an additional backup.

User is currently storing backups on DreamHost at .03 per Gigabyte per month. &nbsp; Now, Retrospect, the company that produces their backup software (which I've been using for decades) supports BackBlaze B2, which is .005 per Gigabyte per month.<br />

Naturally, the price is good. &nbsp;However, I still worry that the price might be too good to be true.<br />
My thought is to have the user do 2 cloud backups, since a Terabyte is $5.00 per month<br />

Backup/Restore primarily serves as a means of protection against data loss, be it due to disaster, corruption or sabotage. It can also be used for recovering data from an earlier point in time and even for cloning machines or applications. There is a wide variety of backup/restore software available, from expensive commercial products to free or open source tools.
