How to identify HDD order of RAID-10 after removing from NAS4Free

HDD (8 pieces) were removed from RAID-10 volume of NAS4Free server, how to understand the correct order for inserting them back?

I have "Read" that since the config is written to disk, putting them back out of original order will work. Please I am no expert so if this is more than a test environment dont take my word as gold.

The way to do this  is :   before removing them - label disks and cables !

May well be software RAID as NAS4free fits on a CD/USB stick, RAID Reconstructor from runtime.org could work out the order but you may have to pay $300 for their RAID Probe service.
Your help has saved me hundreds of hours of internet surfing.
