How to stop CRM Addin from adding website to Trusted Sites
Hi All,
I have an issue where i need to stop my MS Dynamics CRM ver. 4.0 plugin for Outlook 2010 from automatically populating the Trusted Sites of IE with the CRM website.
The reason being is that we have an application that requires the same website to be part of Local Intranet only. As soon as the site is part of Trusted Sites it stops working as expected.
I have two environments, one with IE 9 and one with IE 11. The IE 9 environment does not have an issue with both of the sites being part of Trusted Sites AND Local Intranet.
The environment with IE 11 doesnt work if it is part of Trusted Sites and MUST be only part of Local Intranet.
Our system is:
Windows Server 2008 R2
Outlook 2010
MS Dynamics CRM v. 4.0 update 21
Internet Explorer 11
Any help is apprecaited

Regards,
I don't think you can stop this happening in CRM version 4.0.

Thanks Feridun.
Is there any reason that IE 9 will allow the website to be present whereas IE 11 will not?
The website populates just fine but it overwrites the local intranet sites entry. We need to allow the passthrough of the users credentials so removing it from local sites is not really an option.
I have also restricted the ability for users to add sites to Trusted Sites and this has allowed our third party app to work however, tracking in CRM is not working due to the site not being present.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Angelo
