did you lately install windows patches/exchange patches?
try reboot the machine and see whether it still have the same problem.
Alan Hardisty
Run the Activesync test on the following site and report back any errors (masking your domain name):
Jian An Lim thanks for your response but not nothing from patches where installed.
Alan below is the error that I get from ActiveSync testconnectivity:

Jian, The firewall is off,my exchange is 2013, .NET is 4. Yes I have already remove and recreate VD of ActiveSync
Alan Hardisty
Do you have any AV Software on the server? If so - what is it? The error suggests communication is being killed by something, which is either hardware firewall or AV / Software firewall.
When you say the Firewall on the server is off, do you mean the Windows Firewall, or the BitDefender Firewall?
Not seeing any attachment showing the version - sorry.
Alan
Stavros Steve
ASKER
Bit Defender Ver=7.70772
Bitdefender has np firewall only exchange security(Antimalware, Antispam & Antivirus).
Windows Firewall is OFF
Alan Hardisty
Okay - sounds like just the Basic BitDefender (not BitDefender Endpoint Security or similar), so it probably isn't Exchange aware. Have you setup the exclusions from the following article to stop the AV software messing with Exchange?
I have check that bitdefender is exclude many items fom scanning but compare it with the list of Microsoft. I will check it if its 100% the same as vendor say.
Could I ask you if you have oea problem with error unavle to load script preboot.js
Alan Hardisty
Not seen that specific error, but things to check:
Are you on the latest Rollup / Update / Service Pack for Exchange? If not - please update.
Are all Exchange Services that are set to Automatic Start, started? If not - please start them.

I have the latest cu 16 windows up to date all service is automatic allready remove and recreate OWA VD nothing change
Were you having the problem before BitDefender was installed?
Stavros Steve
ASKER
Yes i had it
Alan Hardisty
Which router do you use and what management port does it use? Is it grabbing port 443 for it's own use rather than passing the traffic through the router?
Okay - is anything else about Exchange not working?
What's the history of the server? When did it last work and what changes were made since it last worked (if any)?
Single server or cluster?
All roles on one server or split roles?
Stavros Steve
ASKER
Single serve all roles in one. It has worked until 4-4-2017. Except OWA that it did not work few days ago with error unable to load script "preboot.js" i am despert cause i search all the internet and nothing has fix my errors. Anyone that can help me.
Alan Hardisty
What changed? Anything? Any Updates Installed (check Control Panel). Any Power Cuts / outages etc?
Run IISRESET from an administrative command prompt and re-test on the test site.
Any better?
Stavros Steve
ASKER
An ActiveSync session is being attempted with the server.
Errors were encountered while testing the Exchange ActiveSync session.

That is the error that I took after the command that you gave me
Alan Hardisty
When you ran the test, did you tick the Ignore trust for SSL option as your certificate is self issued?
No problems. I can connect to your Activesync directory, but without credentials, can't go any further, so it's looking happier and the test site is happier, but not quite there as it's timing out, but it's not erroring at least.
OWA looks happy too, but no cress means I can just look ;)
Were you using credentials when testing, of an Admin user? If you were, can you please re-test with a non-admin user please.
Stavros Steve
ASKER
Autodiscovery it test it with user credential.
For Owa I still get the same error

Hallo again folks, after all of the previous discussion I stil get error. Below what I get
Okay - please show me the result of the following Exchange Shell Command:
get-transportagent
From the BitDefender blurb on the web, it shows the following:
Mail Servers:
• Microsoft Exchange 2016, 2013, 2010, 2007,
• Physical and virtual servers
• Roles: Edge Transport, Hub Transport and Mailbox
• Protocols: SMTP, MAPI, Exchange ActiveSync
The Activesync part worries me and I'm reasonably convinced that BitDefender is the problem as the forcibly closed connections is typical AV behaviour.
Once done, restart the Microsoft Exchange Transport Agent and then re-test on the test site. Post results.
Thanks
Alan

Okay - plan B - please uninstall the BitDefender software, reboot and test again.
I have uninstall the bit defender and I have test it. I got the same result, and as you can understand I do not want to leave my mail server without protection cause before a month I had problem I got blacklist as a spammer. That's why after the test I was re-installed. The server does not have anything else installed. Below you will find what is installed on my exchange 2013 and you can see that is absolute clean
Alan Hardisty
If you want some protection, install Vamsoft ORF Fusion on trial (42 days) and that will protect your inbound mail-flow, then remove BitDefender, reboot and leave the server to settle for a few hours. Then test again.
If you need help configuring Vamsoft - let me know.

alan I have disable everything on transport
and I still have the same errorRCATestResult.html
Disabling isn't sufficient with AV software unfortunately - uninstalling is the only real way to guarantee that it's not messing with the server.
Sorry

Ok Alan I will try later tonight cause now the mail server can not be restart and I will post the result after uninstalling again the AV.
Thanks for you useful advice, I will keep in touch

Alan something else that I would like to ask you. If you see previous post you can see that also I have problem with owa. I am unable to find any solution on the net that will work. could you please check it and advise me.....
The two might be related - they might not be, but hopefully one may lead to a fix for the other.
It's also going to be difficult to try and resolve by Q&A, but I'll do my best.
Any event log errors that might throw some light on the issues?

The error that I get when I login to owa is that is unable to load script/prebbot.js which exactly logs would you like to post for you
Alan Hardisty
Open up Event Viewer and see if there are any logs in the various logs there that are Critical / Warning etc (not informational etc). Might be a pointer in the logs as to a problem.
try reboot the machine and see whether it still have the same problem.
