You can add links to file shares by adding a hyperlink. Not really sure what you are trying to do. Just show a link to the share or have data from the shares in SharePoint. Maybe a little more information would be helpful...

I have a number of forms and documents that my branch offices use on a regular basis. &nbsp;I'm building an new file server on my network and instead of just adding the files to a SharePoint list I wanted to just link to the directories on my network? &nbsp; That way I only have to maintain the files in one place and everyone can access them whether they are in the office or at a customers facility. &nbsp;Anywhere they have internet access so they can access SharePoint.
