OUs are not used for security. &nbsp;You cannot restrict access by OU or allow access. You'll need to create security groups for that.<br />

For the second part though, you can remove list contents permission from everyone, and grant read/create permissions to under advanced to &quot;subfolders and files&quot; to the &quot;creator owner&quot; so they can read their own files and copy files into that location. <br />
<br />
Instead of removing list contents permissions, as long as the students are only accessing the location over the network as a share (not local access, such as an RDS login) then you could alternatively enable access-based enumeration. Then they'd only see files they have permissions to access.

To apply permissions to perform a schema task<br />
Open the Active Directory Schema snap-in.<br />
In the console tree, click Active Directory Schema to connect to the domain.<br />
In the console tree, right-click Active Directory Schema , and then click Permissions .<br />
In Group or user names , select a user or group, or click Add to add a user or group.<br />
In Permissions for &lt;user_name&gt; , select or clear the permission that you want to grant or deny, respectively, and then click OK .<br />
Additional considerations<br />
Performing this task requires you to have schema administrator credentials, which are assigned to only the Schema Admins group. By default, only the Administrator account in the forest root domain is a member of the Schema Admins group. You can set permissions for different administrators to manage schema operations, but it is best to limit the number of schema administrators to a single highly trusted administrator in the forest.<br />

I need to find a way to allow students to either access the DropBox and ONLY see files they have created. OR...allow them to drag and drop a file into DropBox but not access list the contents. &nbsp;I cant allow students to see each others work or COPY files etc.<br />
