W700 charge

I have a user looking for a W700 charger and it seems no one can find it. I told him I needed the model number and serial number to pin it down. Has anyone ever run across this?

I did a Google search for "W700 charger" and thisis one of the things that I found:

I think you need some clarification of what a "W700 charger" is.  If it is a charger for an Acer Iconia Tab W700, then that should do it.  Otherwise, some details are necessary.

Thanks. I will ask the user. I told him to get me the model and serial number off the laptop as there seem to be more than one kind of W700. If he had the old battery that would have made it easier.
note that the model can be hidden in the battery compartment

I told him that. He comes in today and should have that info and then I have a better chance of finding what he needs. Thanks.

Model:                 2758 – 4SU
Product ID:         27584SU
Label P/N:           44C9529
This is the laptop that we need the charger for.
that would be a lenovo model - right?
best contact them, and ask for the correct model
here the ones they sell :  http://www3.lenovo.com/us/en/accessories/chargers-and-batteries/c/chargers-and-batteries?q=%3Aprice-asc%3AfacetAcc-Type%3AChargers&page=1
and on Amazon:
you can find a number of vendors with the supply, though not inexpensive
i saw that site also - but his model is not in there, as far as i see

Thanks. He will have to get with Lenovo.
Yes, you are correct.  I was not checking the model number closely enough.
That model seems to be a bit of challenge when it comes to the AC adapter.  A part number from the old one would likely be a help.
Dennis MillerAuthor Commented:
I had placed it above.
Is that the part number from the laptop or from the AC adapter?
Dennis MillerAuthor Commented:
laptop. He does not have an adapter. That is what he needs.
I understand.  I wasn't clear enough when I mentioned the need for the part number.  I was referring to the one for the adapter.
Dennis MillerAuthor Commented:
Oh I wish he did have it. That would have made my life easier.
Keep in mind that what you care about as far as compatibility is:
Type of connector
Polarity (if DC)
AC or DC
Current rating at least as high as the laptop requires

You should find a label on the laptop specifying the voltage, current, and whether AC or DC.  You can look at the jack to see if a connector may be correct.  Though you'd not know about the polarity, it is unlikely that you'll find one with the wrong polarity if it is assciated with Lenovo laptops.

With that in mind, take a look at:
