Why is this SQL bringing back extra rows? (parsing XML data)
This is SQL 2016 Developer
I've been getting help from two experts: Ryan and Husayn so thanks for that.
This brings back 33 rows which is correct. but when I add a "Cross Apply", it brings back 132 rows and that's not correct.
It should still bring back 33 rows with the correct "subchapter" name.

I tried this and I get all 33 rows but "subchapter" column is all repeated. I know it's because I'm using [1] but don't know how to fix it
