Outlook 2016 - Operation has failed
I have a client who has Outlook 2016. When trying to forward a message she gets the message "The operation failed. The messaging interfaces have returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook. This does not resolve the issue and Office 365 has just been reinstalled. She has Microsoft Exchange and Google Apps emails under her profile.

Refer this blog as it will help you to get rid of this issue. It is a 0x8004010F error which usually arises when users sends and recipes the messages,
