Excel 2010/2013 - How to return the highest number of incident types

Hello,

I am a volunteer working with the local ambulance service and i want to use excel to capture the data to assist with knowing how much we help out as a charity.  We use codes to simplify the 'jobs' we attend and i want to find out which is the most frequent type we go to.  The data is pulled from 64 different worksheets and laid out on the summary page as follows:

A                                               B                     C                                                 D
Name of incident                   Code              Number of incidents               Top type of incident
Burn                                         1                     0
Trauma                                    2                     5
Fall                                            3                     1
Chest pain                               4                     3
(total 32 different codes)     etc

What formula do I need to return the  most attended job?  I am happy with =MAX to get the highest number from column C, but can't figure out how to relate that to returning a name from column A and display it in D2.

Thank you

With your data in a grid format, which it sounds like it is, you can use a pivot table to summarise the data on the Summary tab. You could probably use a multi source pivot and pull the data directly from each of the 64 sheets.
