It will merge your iPhones contacts ( contacts on your Phone ) with your saved contacts on iCloud. if you have already saved your contacts on ICloud then they will duplicate on ICloud.

That and the iTunes error is why I keep it turned off

I see that Natty says it will not merge, but if it will, is there any other option to delete these "duplicity" other than manually deleting one-by-one?
Also, if switched ON, it will sync all Contacts, Calendars, Reminders and Safari with iCloud and in return we will have all our info sync with all devices that have these switches on? Correct?

When you say syncing stops, you mean if checked ON, and we modify a Contact in our iPhone, then Outlook and the other devices will not sync?
I tried the iCloud system and the Contacts stopped syncing with Outlook. You need to pick one main host system you like and sync with that.

yes

We are assuming the "yes" is for the second part, "...it will sync all Contacts, Calendars, Reminders and Safari with iCloud and in return we will have all our info sync with all devices". As for the first, is there an option to delete these "duplicity", are there?
yes for the second part.

Thanks and good luck. Happy to help.

Chose our entry as "Best" because it has the actual step-by-step to assure syncing.
Thanx all!
Thanx all!
So I use Outlook exclusively and turn iCloud contacts OFF as you have shown.
