Can't read help file contents "CHM" files from Microsoft
I downloaded the Word VBA reference guide from here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=40326
But when I click on a specific topic, I can't read the content! Weird. I can see the chapter headings on the left but not the actual page contents in the right pane. How can I see the actual page contents?

Hi Shaun:
I unblocked it and still unreadable. I have given you a link above for one of the docs I can't read.
I also can't read the Word, Excel and Office VBA guides.

Try running System File Checker (SFC /SCANNOW from an admin command prompt) to see if this fixes the issue.
Your most recent post suggests ALL CHM files. Is this true?

Shaun:
I did unblock the file AND it was stored in my personal network drive. This has to be trusted. It's my personal network drive.
HOWEVER, when I moved it to the desktop then I WAS able to read the contents. Success.
So, perhaps my personal network drive is NOT a trusted location?

Check the permissions of the folder
HOWEVER, when I moved it to the desktop then I WAS able to read the contents <-- So then in answer to my question above, "can't read" does not apply to all files.

Network is not trusted location, as per ID: 42096082, unblock file and copy to trusted location.

Hi John! my inability to read CHM files was oddly random!!!
I just checked my permissions for my personal network drive and I have full control.
SHAUN:
I can't place my personal network drive into the TRUSTED SITES field. That's above my security level.
But your advice was spot on.

I tried opening the file using IE 11 but when I did, it took me to the screen I capture I uploaded in my question posting.
Also, how do you open a file in Chrome??? There's no File => Open tab?
Is the CHM Help Executable what happens when I double-click the chm file? (See capture above)?
