How to get report footer value to show a Zero versus empty space - Crystal Reports
My report has two groupings - Group 1 by Date and Group 2 by FinancialClass.
In my Group 2 Footer, I have a Running Total that Sums the Amount field, evaluates for a condition with "Use a formula" (Formula = {Data.Type} = "C") and then under Reset, I have it On change of Group and have it do it for the Group 2 (for the FinancialClass).
The issue is, I have blank holes in my output and tried to fix this by right clicking on the filed and showing the value of zero as a 0, but that did nothing. With that being said, I tried a new formula and used (IF ISNULL({#EnteredChargeByFC }) THEN 0 ELSE {#EnteredChargeByFC} ) and dropped this in my group footer. The only issue with that is I got a phantom 0 value right above the rows I fixed the 0 for.
I hope what I describe makes sense. I think it has to do with the resets on the group; however, I need to show the zeros if its null.
