Extend coverage on my home wifi

I have using TP-link wireless router and some of the coverage is not too good.

Just wonder whehter I should buy a Range extender (eg. https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/211156426-Setting-Up-Your-TP-Link-Extender) or HyFTL-H29R (http://www.tp-link.com.cn/product_335.html).

Any comment for both solution ?

Thx

I don't think you need any WIFI Range extender for the following reason,

Name                    Indoor Range                Frequency

Wireless AC        115 Feet  (35m)                 5 GHz
Wireless N          230 Feet  (70 m)          2.4 GHz, 5 GHz
Wireless G          125 Feet  (38 m)               2.4 GHz
Wireless B          115 Feet   (35 m)              2.4 GHz

Also dropping the WIFI signals can be because of an Interfering Signal.

If you want to troubleshoot the current WIFI signal range just Download and Install free Acrylic Wifi Scanner on your PC and let it scan for 10 minutes,  Screenshot the app and post it here,
Note: please clear all private information, MAC Address, IP Address for security reasons.

What's the max throughput it can reach for your proposed model ? Does it mean either solution will have poor performance compared with those router ?

I believe the wall drop the signal significantly. Without replacing the current router, can I say extender is a possible solution ? What's your consideration - no stable .. ?

For HyFTL-H29R, does it mean I need to replace the router, with one end plugged into the internet router,  and one of my room plug in another adapter. Then the two pair will provide the wifi coverage for my apartment. correct?

Thx again.

Thx again.
