I'm migrating services. Currently I have just one user using Exchange 2003. I want to remove Exchange 2003 from the domain, ending the user's mail faciilty but keeping their profile in the 2003 AD. The user is not being migrated to any other exchange service. How do I do this?

You should be able to use the exchange system manager to disconnect the mailbox, without it affecting AD.
