Google Factory Reset Protection - Corporate devices

We provide our staff with Android phones. Is there a way for us to protect the phones from FRP while still allowing the users to use their own Google account?

Sometimes when staff leave, they wipe their phones (without removing the Google accounts) and this leaves us not being able to reuse them.

If we were able to have a secondary Google account that the end user could not remove, that would be really handy.

You can start the phone initially with company account.
This would be main account and then user can add his account. This way you will always have the ability to reset and reuse phone.
Worth a shot!

Sorry for the delayed reply. I tried the first suggestion, but it appears that the option to reset the phone (or remote wipe) is only available to the current Google account.

As for an MDM solution, we are soon to be using Microsoft Intune so will use that for the Android devices.
We are going to use Microsoft Intune to manage Android devices.
