asked on Exchange 2013 - Recommended Event Log size?
We trying to troubleshoot an issue but the App event logs only go back 20hours. They are configured at the default size of 20MB. We have space, so what would be the harm in increasing to 100MB? Are there any documented recommendations by MS for Win2012 R2 or Exchange 2013?

Exchange on the other hand has multiple log locations not related to the event viewer. Here is an article related to the different log locations and clearing them
