Are you looking at exp/imp or expdp/impdp? I would think you are looking at the data pump versions.
Either way, they are typically a single line command and putting a single command in a script isn't always that useful.
expdp/impdp can be scheduled using Oracle's scheduler and that wouldn't require any kind of script.
What kind of action are you looking at to trigger the export and import?

The other issue is that there are MANY options for exporting and importing. We cannot tell you what options you will need. Only you can provide that.
