Sprint does not use LTE, as of yet maybe in the future, flashing the wrong software will brick the device ----- What modes do you do your tablet connects with -- CDMA_----GSM___HSPA_____LTE
Network
LTE Band 13/4 (700/1700 MHz); Global Network: EDGE/GSM (850/900/1800/1900), HSPA/UMTS(850/900/1900/2100)

If there is no CDMA accept for this device then its a no
Agreed.

Even if you can find a firmware from Samsung Tab 4 8" (Verizon) tablet as shown in my previous comment and if your tablet is not bricked from loading the firmware, 4G LTE will definitely not work as your tablet is designed for Sprint network only.

The most likely outcome is a bricked device and it is an expensive experiment.
Stay with sprint or sell the tablet
