Indian politics meaning of some terms

Hi,
I am confused between some hindi and there equivalent english words commonly used in Indian politics
vidhayak
member of parliament
member of legislative assembly
vidhansabha
sansad

i guess some of them have the same meaning in english above
please help me match them...
eg is vidhayak an mla ?

member of legislative assembly (vidhansabha) is an elected member of the state government


in Canada, member of legislative assembly is an elected member of the provincial government
