Exchange password change on mobile

User has changed the account password and the new one is effective on Outlook. However, we find that mobile will only prompt for password change nearly half day. Is that normal ? Is there anyway to speed up the password change on mobile ?

This does not sound right. Your AD account is 100% the control hub. When you change your password in AD, your active sync will not work if the old password is set in your mobile device.

Have you tested by changing the password and starting a manual sync?  If not I would try this to confirm.
