Exchange 2016 Forward to External adress

I am running an exchange server 2016. I have a distribution group named Support@mydomain.com that goes to myself and the help desk. I want to forward that mail to an external gmail address as well. The reason being is that our ticketing software Work ETC will pop that account every 5 minutes to create help desk tickets from mail in that account.

You could create a mail contact and add it to the distribution group so the gmail address is simply a member of the Distribution Group.

You could also create a transport rule.

In the Exchange Management Console, configure a Mail Contact (this will show in the GAL from now on), then add this Mail Contact into your Distribution Group.

The mail contact will also end up in Active Directory, so please name it something obvious.

Awesome this is what I needed to do thanks.
Hello,

See - by default Delivery management set to the following "Senders Only inside my Organization" and so you can change it to "Senders Inside & Outside my Organization"

I hope this might help, do let me know if this works if not then I would suggest you some other way
congrats Robert
