Append Query Access 2010
We have a very simple append query that updates our inventory table with
the most current information. Every year when we do a physical count I append
the records. The inventory table has about 29000 record and I need to add another
another 3900 record with the append query. When I start the query access seems
to start OK but will soon locks up and the only way out is to shut down and restart.
I have no now idea why this happens. You name it and I have done it: Importing, exporting,
moving locations, compacting, renaming etc. I have been doing this for sixteen years
and never had a problem until yesterday. I have no idea and hope there some one else
might be able to help.

I have attached the file, Inventory_March_31_2013 is the source .
2017 Inventory has the records and 2017 query. I have attached
the Inventory-2017.accdb file that contains them.
Thanks
