Open folder via explorer, but stop user from changing folder

I have an MS Access application that allows me to open/select files and or folders.  This has always worked well, but I could now do with something with a bit more security.  One of the things I'd really like to do set the folder that is to be opened and then stop them from going anywhere else.

Does anyone know of any good solutions that might do the trick?

Hi Crystal - I am trying to find a solution so am exploring different avenues.  It's not the same question.

I realize what your goal is ... but what is discussed there might be applicable here.  Am a little confused though, since you said they cannot get to their local file system but if they can browse via a file dialog, then they can ...

as far as I know, you cannot control the file dialog by restricting directories.  Once it comes up, all you can do is get the results.
The other solution would be preferable (pasting directly),  but just in case.....

They can browse on their local machine (outside of the Remote Access application) and copy files that are there. But, as soon as they switch over to the remote server, they will have no options to use Explorer (it's a different network, with very different permissions).  So ultimately, I need to give them a way to get those files into a specific folder on the remote server.
The solution for this one will be to use permissions on the remote server to simply restrict users to see one specific folder.  At least that way they can use Explorer to paste files to a specific folder, but not do too much harm outside of that.

Thanks Crystal - much appreciated.
