Unable to expand Hard Disk on VM VMware esxi 6 after moving guest to iSCSI datastore
Hello Experts,
I recently moved a virtual machine to an iSCSI datastore, the new datastore has 2TB storage.
My vm was 550GB, I expanded it to 1TB; during this, the host got stuck on processing for about 1 hour. I restarted the host.
Now, the vmdk file has 1,073 GB but the guest shows only 550GB; when I extend the Hard Disk, I get error: The disk extend operation failed: msg.disklib.NOSPACE.
Can you help?

this is actually an exchange server, migration was done on Saturday. Can VMware converter be used without vCenter? If that's the only solution, I will have to do that this weekend.
Yes, it does not need converter.

I see there is an option to run the converter and set a different destination for the converted vm; can I select the same host for destination?
Correct.
