Webroot AV clears list of recently opened Word & Excel docs

We have installed Web Root Secure Anywhere Endpoint Protection v. on several of our customer's Windows 10 computers (running either Office 2016, Office 2013, or Office 2010).

Our customers keep reporting that when they arrive at work in the morning the list of their recently opened documents within either Microsoft Word or Excel has been cleared (see the screenshots).

This is a major problem.

What can be done to fix or prevent this from happening?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

As per advice by on clipboard but if you scroll fown the optimiser list, there is mention of the MRU documents so do uncheck as well and also consider adding the office app as protected apps. and you can find the link on this.
